All renewable energy certificates offers can be coupled also with the major labels available in the market like Naturemade basic/Naturemade star standards, TÜV EE, EE + and EE01 standards and OK-power standards.
Naturemade is an established Swiss label, which is co-sponsored by major consumers, the leading environmental associations (WWF, Pro Natura), consumer protection (Swiss Consumer Council) and the electricity industry. The label is awarded by the Association for Environmentally Sound Energy (VUE) in two stages:
Naturemade basic is climate-producing electricity with a subsidy model (new plants).
Naturemade star is high-quality green electricity from new renewable energies and local revitalization measures in the catchment area of the hydropower plants used.
Ok power German ecolabel for renewable electricity from new or upgraded power plants.
The "ok power" label provides an incentive for the construction of new generation facilities. For this quality, at least 33 percent of the electricity must come from plants that are not older than six years. A further 33 percent of the electricity goes back to plants that are not older than 12 years.
TÜV SÜD Generation EE German ecolabel for renewable electricity from new power plants, with a mix of technologies and fund allocation. This label confirms the certification of the generation of electricity from renewable energies. Production can be attributed to a clearly identifiable source.
